22nd Annual Back to School Giveaway & Health Fair
Making a Difference
Since 1997, our foundation has given away school supply kits. In 2018, over $30,000 in supplies and prizes were given away each to serve 2,000+ children in Houston’s Greater East End.
This year the Back to School Giveaway & Health Fair will be hosted on Saturday, August 17th, 2019.

WHAT IS THIS EVENT?
The Back to School Giveaway & Health Fair sponsored by The Morales Memorial Foundation is annual event hosted on the parking lot of Morales Funeral Home. As a way to support our community and education, the foundation gives away 2,000+ complete school kits during the event. In addition, we bring in free local services which include immunization, nutrition information and more!
IS REGISTRATION REQUIRED?
Register is NOT required. However, it is highly encouraged. Registration does not guarantee school supplies. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-service basis. We encourage you to arrive early. Register here.
HOW DO I REGISTER MY STUDENT?

IS THERE A COST TO ATTEND?
We are pleased to announce that this is a free event, sponsored by The Morales Memorial Foundation.
DO STUDENT(S) NEED TO BE PRESENT?
Student(s) must be present to receive school supplies.
CAN I BRING OTHER STUDENTS THAT NEED SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO THE EVENT?
Yes. All student must be with their parents or legal guardian of age.
WHERE IS EVENT LOCATED?
The festival is located on the parking lot of Morales Funeral Home, 2901 Canal St. Houston, TX 77003. The entrance to the grounds are off N. Paige St.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE EVENT?
At the Fest, the student(s) must be present to receive their school supplies.
If receiving immunizations
ORIGINAL shot record must be presented (School health records are not accepted)
If receiving application assistance you must bring:
Current check stubs
Each child's birth certificate & social security card
State-issued ID (Driver's License, ID card, etc)
CAN EVENT VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR THEIR CHILDREN?
Event offerings are available only for students and their families attending the Back to School Fest as participants.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
The fair will continue as scheduled in the event of rain.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU RUN OUT OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES?
Supplies will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Parents are encouraged to get there early.
DO I NEED TO PROVIDE ANY DOCUMENTATION FOR MY STUDENT(S) TO RECEIVE THEIR SCHOOL SUPPLIES?
No. The Morales Memorial Foundation only asks for the student to be present.
